The CHI Deep Brilliance Olive & Monoi Silk Conditioning Relaxer System is formulated using a rich blend of Silk, Olive Oil, Monoi Oil, and Shea Butter replacing harsh relaxer systems with a nourishing and conditioning new formula.

Developed for all hair types, to gently relax the natural texture of the hair while maintaining integrity by adding moisture and essential strength, thereby keeping hair in its optimum condition.

This Silk Conditioning Relaxer is versatile and allows for multiple chemical services to be performed on the same day using CHI products.

1. After Applying CHI Deep Brilliance Olive & Monoi Soothe & Protect Hair & Scalp Protective Cream around the hairline and on the scalp area.
2. Section out ½” perimeter around the entire hairline around the head. Section the hair from ear to ear through apex and front hairline to nape to create 4 sections.
3. Outline the quadrant by applying the relaxer ½” away from the scalp.
4. Use ¼” (6.35 mm) subsections and apply the relaxer thoroughly on both sides by using an application brush staying ½” away from scalp. DO NOT apply directly to scalp.
5. After finishing the application on all 4 sections, start to apply to the root area staying 1/8” away from scalp.
6. Begin applying relaxer to perimeter area around entire head. DO NOT comb the hair!

 

Determine processing time based on hair type and previous chemical services. Timing and generator volume depend on the natural tinted level, texture condition, and porosity of the hair. DO NOT exceed maximum processing times, timing is always approximate. DO NOT use heat.

1. Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water for at least 5 minutes. Make sure that all traces of relaxer have been thoroughly rinsed away, paying special attention to nape and hairline areas.
2. Shampoo the hair with CHI Deep Brilliance Olive & Monoi Neutralizing Shampoo. Shampooing will indicate where the relaxer has not been completely rinsed out by producing a pink lather. If pink lather is seen, rinse again and shampoo with CHI Deep Brilliance Olive & Monoi Neutralizing Shampoo until the lather is white.
3. Apply CHI Deep Brilliance Olive & Monoi Deep Protein Masque for 5 minutes.
4. Rinse and towel dry.

Olive oil:

Is considered a superior moisturizing agent because of its ability to penetrate the hair shaft while its rich emollients help to retain moisture in the hair by reaching the cortex and moisturizing from within.
